Karl Edgar Becker

Age 74
Karl Edgar Becker, 74, left this world on April 11, 2026. He was born to Edgar and Johanna Becker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on January 12, 1952. A 16 year resident of Mesquite, TX, he moved to Forney, TX in 2020.
Karl was a graduate of Nathan Hale High School in West Allis, Wisconsin. He attended Ricks College (BYU Idaho) in Rexburg, Idaho where he met Trish Hancock. He served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Northern Germany where he became fluent in German.
After returning from his mission, Karl and Trish were married August 16, 1974, in the Manti Temple in Manti, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in business. He taught high school at Granite High School in Salt Lake City, Utah before beginning his career as a professional medical salesperson. The capstone of his career was as International Sales Trainer for Pfizer, a position that allowed him to travel to four continents and back to his beloved Germany.
Karl enjoyed serving in the church, especially serving as a Scout Master. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and was famous for his "Dad Jokes." The louder his family groaned, the funnier the joke was to him.
Preceded in Death
Karl was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Johanna Becker, and his older brother John Becker.
Survivors
Karl is survived by his wife Trish of 51 years. He is survived by his son Michael Becker and his wife Jennifer and their two sons, Cullen and Ian. His daughter Julie Rivera and her four sons, Andrew Becker, Brandon, Cameron, and Dillon Williams. His son Joseph Becker. He is also survived by his great grandchildren:
- Of Andrew: Bentley, Brenleigh, Wesley, and Adaleigh
- Of Brandon: Reid and soon to arrive Faye
- Of Cameron: Daisy
He is also survived by his younger brother Martin Becker and various nieces and nephews.
